Salary: £24,000 to £28,000
The role will be supporting the Managing Director with all financial aspects of the business and will be a standalone role within the finance function where you will be hands-on with all aspects of the role.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
• Processing all customer and supplier invoices and payments
• Completing all bank reconciliations including credit cards and accounts
• Compiling the aged debtor reports
• Weekly and monthly banking
• VAT returns
• Processing all petty cash claims
• Processing all expenses
• Plus additional bookkeeping related duties
This role is working for a locally successful business that has grown over the years and is building on a great reputation within the local area.
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper that has worked within a small busy environment and wants to join a business that will support them and challenge them at the same time.
Relevant skills and experiences required for this role include:
• Experience of working as a Bookkeeper
• Excellent knowledge of Sage Line 50
• Experience of Credit Control
• Good interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
