About The Role

The role is a Maternity Cover contract, so the long term possibilities are open ended.

Within this role you will be providing a complete Finance Business Partnering service to a number of areas of the business.  You will be the key link between finance and operational areas of the business, in turn creating a fuller understanding of costs, performance and opportunities for business improvements and efficiencies.

Your role will be varied, covering all areas of the finance function.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Statements – Production of financial statements, monthly management information, assist with the consolidated group accounts
  • Balance Sheet – oversee monthly reconciliations, meet month end and quarter end deadlines, intercompany transactions
  • Budget Holder Support – Support budget holders to understand operational performance, monitoring capital and revenue budgets, support budget holders in variance analysis, provide financial support to budget holders
  • Financial Reporting – Assist with the benchmarking returns, funders reports
  • Forecasting, Analysis and Modelling – work with budget holders to produce monthly financial forecasts, provide analysis on monthly management accounts

This role is working within an established business based in the Redhill area, they have been providing support to the local community for a number of years and are striving to continue their impact within the local area.

About You

We are looking for an individual that has experience of working within a Finance Business Partnering based role previously so they can hit the ground running within this role.

We also require the successful incumbent to be able to commit for the entire 12 month contract.

Other skills, experiences and qualifications we require are as follows:

  • Experience of Finance Business Partnering
  • Ideally fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) but we are open to Part Qualified or QBE
  • Extensive experience of the preparation of budgets, financial and management accounts, cash flow forecasting, analysis
  • Previous experience within an industry like Housing Association or something similar would be seen favourable but not essential

Things you should know

This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract covering maternity cover, as with any maternity cover contract there is always the chance that this could turn into a permanent position but there are no guarantees.
