About The Role

This position will have two reports who are responsible for maintaining the ledgers. You will manage, mentor and develop your reports in addition to maintain the companies accounts.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for preparation of management accounts, running the monthly payroll, the submission of VAT and CIS returns, ensuring the ledgers are maintained accurately and assist the Finance Assistants with any matters that need escalating.

You will look after credit and supplier payments in ensuring the maintenance of a clear debt record as well as working with the MD in monitoring projects and clients credit limits.

About Our Client

Located on a quiet business part with onsite parking, this business offers a close nit, family like working environment whereby the Finance Manager is held close to the business and an important member of the Management team in supporting the Managing Director with operational and commercial projects.

About You

You must have a track record of managing a small team, be hands on and proactive and willing to assist with matters slightly outside of the Finance Remit, this position will work very closely with the Operational and HR teams, as such you must be commercially astute and hold excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of Sage would be preferable but not essential.
