About The Role

This role will manage and develop a sound financial framework in order to measure and guide divisional performance and as accurate accounting, ensuring that business processes are compliant in accordance with corporate policies. Duties include:

  • Review and continual improvement of the finance function within the business, adopting best practice whilst ensuring compliant with relevant requirements
  • Ensuring timely and accurate production of month end results and forecasts
  • Analysis of the results to highlight risks and opportunities, including leading the business analytics function
  • Assist in interaction with operations of the business for financial based reviews, including production and review of reports
  • Ensure that the business key controls are adopted and evidenced where appropriate
  • Optimize the working capital of the division, including management of the credit control function
  • Management of the central balance sheet reconciliation and review process
  • Leading the compliance function to ensure that the business to ensure that the business effectively safeguards the company's assets
  • Provision of information on request of UK head office and other external bodies such as external auditors
  • Control of overhead costs and reporting
  • Building strong and influential relationships with the businesses unit by providing value added service
  • Manage/assist in the budget process where appropriate within the business

About You

Qualified Accountant with relevant PQE in a similar role, you will have commercial/financial experience in a commercial services/contract environment. The successful candidate will be professional, committed, proactive, innovative and has integrity with strong communication skills at all levels including external customers. Strong academic background is a must, ideally 2:1 or above.
