About The Role

The role, working as a Finance Manager, will be based from their Redhill office and will form an integral part of this growing business. Within this role you will be responsible for maintaining an effective, efficient, motivated and happy workforce. With this in mind, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, self-motivated individual to take complete control of the finance function within the business. 

Within this role you will be responsible for:

  • Oversee and consolidate the monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of the annual budgets and 3 year plan
  • Prepare monthly management reports to include financial KPI’s and detailing key variances to budget
  • Control working capital and monitor cash-flow within the business
  • Lead, direct and support the small finance team
  • Monitor and control the forecasts for long term contracts
  • Monitor and control overhead expenditure
  • Assist the Finance Director with key projects or assignments as and when required

About Our Client

This is working for a Redhill based SME business is going through continued growth, in the last 12 months it has seen a 30% increase to turnover and the previous year they had 25% increase.

About You

To apply for this role you will need the following skills and experiences:

  • Hold a full or Part Qualified Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Equivalent)
  • Experience of working within a similar environment as a Finance Manager or Controller
  • Strong IT skills are required including Intermediate Excel skills; use of Sage would be highly advantageous
  • Ability to work and communicate with staff at all levels from operative to director

Within this role you will be joining a highly supportive environment, taking control of a small finance team and helping develop them further.  Long term plans for the successful applicant includes succession planning for the Finance Director.
