About The Role

This is a great opportunity to join a family run business that is looking to add a senior post within their finance team. You will be tasked with managing two staff and work closely with the Managing Director to shape the finance team and help in the continued planned growth plan. This is a genuine opportunity to make the finance department your own and to put your stamp on it.

You will also be tasked in taking over the ownership for the consolidation of 4 various systems and then driving the implementation of a new ERP system fit for all the business.

About Our Client

Our client is an import and distribution business with a T/O of circa £15M with planned growth to reach £20M T/O by 2020. They work in a fast paced / high volume environment. The business has a number of USP’s with their own brand product being highly respected in the industry.

About You

You will be a qualified accountant account (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with relevant post qualification experience. You will have managed a team and helped with their development. Ideally you will have experience of the distribution / supply sectors. Although leading a team, this will still be a very hand-on role and you will work closely with all senior managers (particularly the MD) in identifying improvements and cost savings. You will possess excellent communication and business partnering skills. You will have previously implemented a new ERP system or large scale upgrade.

Key finance skills: Budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, corporate planning, treasury, monitoring financial performance along with ensuring robust financial controls are in place. You will also manage external relationships with auditors, bankers and regulatory authorities.
