About The Role

The role, as Finance Business Partner, will provide inspirational leadership within a proactive finance team.

You will be an active partner in adding value to the Management team, ensuring the development of high quality services and care environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the budget setting process, ensuring the effective, efficient and economic use of financial resources
  • Ensure the financial viability of the divisions, taking ownership and delivery of financial targets and cost improvement programmes
  • Ensure the Working Capital & Fixed Asset Manager and Finance Officers have a good understanding of the month end accounting requirements
  • Monitor Divisional financial performance and constructively challenge the budget managers
  • Support the development and implementation of business intelligence
  • Plus a host of additional project work

About Our Client

This role is working within the NHS and is working for a trust that will have further chances to progress and develop within.

About You

We are looking for an individual that has previous NHS experience, that is a Finance Business Partner and can commit to the contract for a minimum of 3 months.

Other skills and attributes we are looking for include:

  • Ideally a full accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) but we are open to experienced QBE (Qualified By Experience) professionals
  • Experience of working within NHS
  • Experience working as a Finance Business Partner or within a similar capacity

This is an interim assignment which will last for a minimum of 3 months.
