About The Role

The role will join a law firm on a permanent basis.

The job will involve:

  • Providing a professional, friendly and efficient service to internal and external clients
  • Processing all domestic/overseas payment of funds from both client and office accounts
  • Client bank reconciliations to the agreed timetable
  • Process appropriate ledger entries for all client and office funds receipted directly in to the firm bank accounts
  • Monitor and action all transfers between client and office account in accordance with SAR / internal policies
  • Money Market / Treasury and FX Transactions
  • Providing a professional, friendly and efficient service to all clients (internal and external) by actioning their enquiries promptly whilst ensuring that appropriate client service standards are maintained
  • Promoting, maintaining and proactively developing strong relationships with internal and external clients to ensure high levels of client focus and service delivery
  • Reviewing and maintaining balances held on the client account to include regular meetings with partners and case handlers
  • Other ad hoc duties

About Our Client

Our client is a Surrey based law firm

About You

You will have a practical, hands on experience of client accounting and a good understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules.

You will have strong IT skills including good MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and be a strong communicator – happy to deal with various stakeholders in a confident and professional manner.
