An enthusiastic Accounts Assistant with extensive experience in Credit Control. They have developed a strong expertise in managing financial processes, including debt recovery, invoicing, bank reconciliations, and generating financial reports. With an eye for detail and a proven ability for exceptional analytical skills, they are seeking an opportunity that will offer the chance to apply their financial knowledge and showcase their relationship building skills with clients.

Exposure includes:

  • Supporting credit control functions, including escalating debt to external agencies when necessary
  • Chasing overdue debt and recovering outstanding balances via telephone, email, and letters
  • Processing invoices and account statements, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
  • Generating and sending monthly statements and invoices to clients
  • Performing bank reconciliations for BACS, cheques, and card payments
  • Preparing and reviewing financial reports, including cash flow, and arrears analysis
  • Managing financial assessments for customers and ensuring they are receiving appropriate benefits and debt help
  • Assisting with year-end reporting and audits, including reconciling accounts and preparing relevant documentation

System exposure: Sage, Xero, SAP, Microsoft

Qualifications: ICB Bookkeeping Qualification
