An organised and motivated Assistant Accountant looking for a change of industry.  Several years’ experience assisting with key management accountancy responsibilities including prepayments, accruals, recharges, managing the sales ledger debtors and balance sheet reconciliations as well as assisting with the preparation of the annual budget. Strong communication skills, excellent time management and high attention to detail this candidate would be an asset to any company.

Exposure includes:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of schedules for prepayments, accruals and recharges
  • Managing the sales ledger debtors
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring this reconciles to the Trial Balance
  • Processing period-end journals and intercompany journals
  • Processing of bank payments (Chaps,BACS)
  • Transactional based duties – raising invoices, reconciliation of credit cards, managing invoice queries
  • Updating and reconciling financial ledgers
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual budget
  • Researching and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Processing company expenses, petty cash and customer refunds

System exposure: Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP, ADP (Kerridge), SAGE
