An early-stage CIMA studier who has 18 months experience working in accounts and is now looking for their next challenge. Having started their career in sales, they moved into finance, having always had a passion for it and they have thrived in this role. Currently working for a small accountancy firm which has given them great exposure and is now keen to find a role that will support them with their studies. Exposure includes:
- Maintain accurate financial records and support senior accountants with daily tasks.
- Perform bank reconciliations, ledger management and data entry tasks.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns for multiple clients ahead of deadlines.
- Managing the onboarding process for new clients and resolving any queries.
- Processing invoices, receipts and payments.
- Accurate journalling for clients.
- Supporting with the improvement of internal processes and improving efficiency.
System exposure: Xero, Quickbooks, Sage
Qualifications:
- CIMA – studying operational level
- BSc Business Studies 2:1
