A part qualified CIMA studier who has been working in their current role for 4 years but is now moving on due to redundancy. Having graduated with a 2:1 Accounting degree, they initially started in an analytical role before moving into a more mainstream accounting position which has given them broader exposure. They are currently studying their CIMA operational level and have gained good month end exposure in their current role which they are now looking to build on. A very personable individual who is looking for a role with study support and a long-term opportunity within a stable organisation.
Exposure includes:
- P&L analysis and supporting with the production of the monthly management accounts.
- Project costing analysis – tracking the costs of different projects against their respective budgets and then forecasting future costs.
- Cash flow forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintaining prepayment, accruals and fixed asset schedules and posting respective journals.
- Management of purchase ledger – posting invoices, payments runs and supplier reconciliations.
- Reconciliation and daily postings of bank account.
- Leading a project which implemented new software for timesheet recording for the company.
- Processing expenses and reconciling employees credit cards.
Qualifications:
- CIMA – Operational level (currently studying)
- 2:1 degree- Accounting & Finance
