A qualified by experience Finance Manager with almost 15 years’ experience in senior managerial roles and is now looking for their next challenge. Having started their career in teaching, they moved into finance and have very quickly progressed. Furthermore, they have predominately worked in SME’s and have experience in managing small teams whilst also working in sole charge positions. Great experience in assessing functions and also developing finance departments from scratch. A very credible and well-presented individual who we have placed in their last 2 roles.
Exposure includes:
- Full preparation and production of the monthly management accounts, presenting them to senior management.
- Managing the cashflow across 3 companies and currencies.
- Using financial models and analysis to support the directors in assessing various business scenarios.
- Assisting directors with proposal preparation, ensuring all proposals meet company margin requirements.
- Completing a migration of the companies’ accounts from Sage 50 to Xero.
- Successfully managed 7-figure project budget and developed cost savings that bought project in 40% under budget.
- Coaching and developing the finance and administration teams to expand skillset and improve performance.
- Lead the selection and engagement of new external accountants.
