An experienced, AAT qualified Finance Manager who has recently been made redundant and is now looking for their next challenge. Having started their career in an industry leading PLC, they have since worked within SME businesses, in varied positions and is now looking for a similar role. Exposure includes:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, analysis of financial performance trends and opportunities.
- Oversee financial management, ensuring integrating of financial reporting and compliance.
- Develop and maintain financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decisions.
- Manage cash flow, forecasting inflows/outflows and maintaining reserves.
- Manage bookkeeping processes, including accruals, prepayments, payroll and profit share.
- Implement internal controls and risk management processes to mitigate financial risks.
- Reconcile monthly sales and claims, liaising with underwriters to ensure accuracy.
- Full system migration to Xero, improving overall efficiency.
Software knowledge: Sage, Xero, Sap, advanced Excel
Qualifications: AAT qualified
