Over 30 years experience in a variety of finance roles including Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, Inter Company and Management Accountant across a range of industries.  Motivated and versatile this individual enjoys a challenge and works well under pressure.  They are quick to learn and adapt to different systems with experience of implementing new accounting software.

Exposure includes:

  • Preparation and production of monthly management accounts
  • Monthly VAT returns
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Assisting with year-end audit preparation and queries
  • Daily reporting, reconciliation, AP/AR and debt collection activities
  • Calculating overhead accruals and prepayments for monthly accounts
  • Oversee staff expense claims and credit card expenditure
  • Assisting in setting up new order processing procedure and interfacing with accounts software
  • Implementation of new accounting systems, testing and training staff
  • System exposure – Sage, Xero, variety of bespoke systems
