An AAT qualified, experienced finance professional who is currently looking for their next challenge within a varied position. They worked within an SME organisation for almost 20 years doing an Accounts Assistant before being made redundant and are now working in a payroll focused position for a growing, local organisation. Furthermore, they have had to handle an increase of 100 staff and improve the payroll processes to ensure they manage this growth. They are a very versatile individual who has a very strong stable career background and is now looking to secure a long term, hybrid position that can utilise their skillset.

Exposure includes:

  • Preparation of weekly/monthly invoices and expense claim payment runs
  • Inputting, matching, batching and coding of invoices
  • Preparation of sales invoices and chasing outstanding customer accounts
  • Dealing with all aspects of UK Payroll for 250 employees. Including timesheet analysis, bonuses, final pay calculations and P45s
  • Working closely with the Management Accountant to improve the payroll processes to ensure smooth delivery
  • Counting and reconciling petty cash
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with statutory returns
  • Daily bank transfers and payments
