A highly capable and results driven Financial Controller who has predominantly worked within the manufacturing industry. Proven expertise in overseeing financial operations, improving processes and leading team to deliver accurate consolidation accounts.
Sadly, this individual has been made redundant and therefore comes to market with immediately availability, hence open to either contract or permanent opportunities. Strong business acumen with vast experience in manufacturing, distribution, importing and experience, whilst driving efficiencies within a business.
Exposure includes:
- UK & European reporting responsibility including full consolidated reporting to the US HQ
- Various ERP and software implementation to increase automations across AP
- Led a finance team of 7 people
- Preparing monthly and annual financial statements to UK Gapp and FRS 102
- Overseeing cashflow management and forecasting
- Managing the annual financial audit processes for the UK businesses
- Supporting the annual budgeting process, pulling together budget income statement and calculation of margin budget by customer, area and product type
Software knowledge: Oracle Netsuite, Sage X3, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Payroll, Pleo, People HR and advanced Excel
Qualifications: CIMA
