This individual has remained loyal and supported this business to navigate its path of recovering since Covid-19 had a detrimental impact, meaning her cashflow experience has been invaluable to her employer.  Furthermore, this candidate has also been involved with due diligence and negotiation of additional investment to support this business through what has been a challenging time.

This person has the value of undertaking the full life-cycle finance position, and throughout her experience has been within either a sole-charge position or supported by a small team that she has been responsible for.  Therefore, she is happy to be as operationally involved as the role and business requires.

This individual is confident forming part of the senior management team and has experience to draw upon doing so, presenting, and aligning the financials for the business strategy.

Exposure includes:

  • Timely and accurate provision of financial reports; management accounts, budgets, sales analysis, forecasts, variance/margin analyses, commentaries
  • Leading and planning the year end audit liaising with auditors, directors, subsidiary managers and bookkeepers.
  • Preparation of year end audit working papers, consolidations, stock takes, valuations, filing of accounts.
  • Balance sheet reporting/reconciliations including fixed asset maintenance, capital spend projects, credit control, working capital management, deferments, invoice financing, leases

System exposure: Sage, Xero, advanced Excel
