Extensive experience in business partnering and financial planning and analysis (FP&A), supporting a diverse range of budget holders and stakeholders across UK, EMEA regions.

In his most recent role, this individual undertook a sole-charge FP&A reporting function, overseeing consolidation-level reporting across UK, Australia, and India. He utilized tools such as Tableau and Agresso and led the implementation of Power BI. As the first and only member of the FP&A team in this capacity, he developed the reporting model from the ground up, improving data quality and detail.

Through the implementation of Power BI, led to successfully reduced reporting time by 40% and introduced automation features, enabling stakeholders and budget holders to access real-time reporting via dashboards. His previous responsibilities included managing four separate P&Ls and eight additional cost centres.

Prior to his last position he gained experience working in a consumer-focused telecommunications business. His role involved developing a comprehensive reporting tool in MS Excel. He re-engineered existing reporting processes from basic levels to provide more detailed insights, supporting weekly reporting cycles with results delivered by Monday midday, followed by briefing sessions and presentations on performance, opportunities, and risks on Monday at 16:00. His analysis was segmented by product categories, reflecting his expertise in consumer-based markets.

  • Production of monthly board and management reports including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and KPI analysis
  • Leading the Group’s annual budget process
  • Lead monthly performance review meeting for senior stakeholders
  • Re-modelling large data sets
  • Design, develop and implementation of software tools such as Power BI – resulted in deeper dive analysis and decreased amount of hours in production of reporting
  • Weekly flash reporting broken down by consumer product / brands
  • Consolidation level reporting – 14 countries
  • Performance led reporting with marketing budgets and ROI
