An AAT qualified Accountant who has been working in accounts for the past 5 years and is now looking for their next challenge. They are looking to start their ACCA studies so would be looking for a role that supports with that and also offers them the progression long term. Having started in their current role with no accounts experience, they have achieved 3 promotions during this time and gained great exposure in month end accounts as well as areas of transactional accounting. Furthermore, they have experience in multi-company accounts and have great aspirations to work as an FD in the future. A very personable and bright individual who comes across very well in person and would be a great asset to any finance team.
Exposure includes:
- Assisting with the preparation and production of the monthly management accounts.
- Create and prepare financial reports, analysing data and presenting to senior finance.
- Reconciling balance sheets and preparing sample files and evidence for auditors.
- Supporting with the implementation of new systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintaining ledger accounts for various UK sites.
- Managing debtor accounts and raising any issues to Finance Manager.
- Supporting with the training of new staff and supporting with their development.
- Developing new supplier relationships and setting up new accounts on their system.
Qualifications: AAT qualified – due to begin ACCA om October 2024
