An experienced Payroll professional who has over 20 years’ experience and is now looking for their next challenge. They have a very diverse background having worked in both inhouse and outsourced payroll environments and are happy to consider both moving forward. Furthermore, they have worked for large PLC businesses as well as SME’s where they have been in sole charge roles. They are happy to work as part of a team and bring a very methodical and calm mindset to Payroll. A very well presented and knowledgeable individual who could add great value to any business.

Exposure includes:

  • Sole responsibility for preparing and processing monthly payrolls for between 250-800 staff.
  • Working in a team of 7 processing various clients payrolls, that differ in size and complexity. Handling communication with key clients and resolving any queries.
  • Providing monthly salary benefit reconciliations, raising payment requests for finance to pay.
  • Responsible for the accurate day-to-day and monthly reporting requirements in relation to staff pensions.
  • Ensure monthly starters, leavers and all relevant changes to employees (including auto-enrolment) are accurately recorded.
  • Experience in working with multiple monthly & weekly payrolls.
  • Reconcile all payroll records, including the raising of monthly payroll journals to the general ledger.
  • Completion of P11d’s and PSA agreements to HMRC by required deadline.
  • Recording and maintaining records on sick leave and holiday entitlement.

System knowledge: Sage, Excel
