Salary : £25,000 - £28,000

A successful and growing contractor business delivering integrated planning and environmental services is growing their Project team. Howett Thorpe brings to the market a superb opportunity for a talented administrator and communicator to support their client’s Project Managers.  This is a highly administrative function – we are NOT looking for scrum/Prince 2 level applicants – this role is about communication and managing multiple administrative responsibilities.

Project Coordinator – About The Role:

As Project Coordinator you will be supporting the Project Managers and the delivery team.  Excellent organisation and communication skills will be key to your success. The ideal candidate will have had experience using online maps and adapt well to changing priorities. This role requires you to be proactive in your approach and, as an integral member of the team, demonstrate initiative in problem solving.

The role will require you to be a self-motivated team member who can work both independently and ‘muck-in’ as part of a team. You will be helping to deliver contractor services to their clients.

The successful Project Coordinator will have/be:

  • Experience in an administrative role for a commercial business
  • Experience using online maps would be an advantage
  • Able to maintain multiple deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong IT skills – intermediate to advanced Excel
  • Excellent communication skills – internal and external
  • Highly organised
  • ‘Get stuck in’ mentality and team-player attitude as well as the focus to work independently
