Sales Executive – About The Role

The successful Sales Executive must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to adapt and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You will have a great deal of responsibility early on and will be required to manage your own time and duties. You will be working as part of the sales team, spending your time connecting with customers and developing pre-existing relationships. This will be a mixture of inbound and outbound activity, ensuring that the businesses customers are happy with the products provided, and will also give you a chance to upsell some more products to them. This role would be perfect for someone who has experience in B2B experience and has a passion for working within the Toys/Games/Entertainment industry.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Take time to build great relationships with each customer so that you adapt the services and products to meet their specific needs
  • Provide great customer service to a set group of retail partners including making sure records are up to date as well as resolving customer complaints
  • Pro-actively contact customers to make them aware of new and upcoming product releases to increase sales
  • Researching and following up relevant leads
  • Contact customers via phone and email to assist with a variety of sales queries
  • Capture and update customer information accurately
  • Be a team player, helping drive performance by constantly challenging self and by inspiring others to meet their goals
  • Respond to changing priorities and achieve tasks quickly and efficiently

The successful Sales Executive will have/be:

  • Experience in B2B telesales is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Desire to progress in a sales environment
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively alongside the sales team
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time efficiently
  • Proven administrative and personal organisational skills
  • Can-do attitude and enthusiastic manner
  • Experience using SAP or similar would be an advantage
  • Educated to A Level or equivalent
  • Interest in the Toys/Games/Entertainment industry
