Salary : £25- 30,000k DOE

This hybrid role is a newly created position that combines a document handler role with some more varied technical admin related to the company sector and specific business. Managing relationships specific to your job with internal departments and a range of external suppliers and partners. This role will suit an outgoing, confident and capable administrator with a strong IT ability and previous experience handling a DMS system is desirable.

Technical Administrator – About The Role

  • Import all tender documents onto a cloud-based document management system (DMS) when a project becomes live.
  • Keep the DMS up to date when revisions are made.
  • Review and monitor project documents on a monthly basis.
  • Administer and update DMS access requirements onto projects.
  • Conduct initial training to new users of the DMS system.
  • Assist with the development of the DMS and propose any changes that may improve the system.
  • Liaise with related local authority departments & 3rd party organisations with regards requirements to enable company business to be conducted.
  • Liaise with the technical team and management staff with regards to submission requirements.
  • Obtain information from utility companies & other 3rd party
  • Assist with the delivery of the companies / teams processes and procedures as requested.
  • Monitor and submit the technical team’s timesheet every month.
  • Keep a register of all applications, update as required.
  • Keep a register of all external contacts, and maintain master contact list.
  • Assist with the promotion of the DMS with project teams and monitor usage.
  • Create and update project planning trackers.

The successful Technical Administrator will have:

• Good – advanced Excel skills – PDF viewer experience is desirable.
• Previous experience of document management is desirable.

• Full driving licence.
