This growing organisation based on the outskirts of Farnham are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. You will be joining a multi-site organisation within a growing industry that offers great career progression. This role will be office based and due to the location, you must be a car driver.

Accounts Assistant – About the Role

In this role you will be reporting into the Finance Manager and will be working within a finance team of 10. You will be assisting with the daily running of the accounts department and will be required to build relationships internally & externally. Your key responsibilities will be:

  • To input and check all purchase invoices for multiple businesses on separate systems.
  • Raise monthly sales invoices & sales customer statements.
  • Raise weekly and monthly payments in line with payment terms.
  • Reconciling supplier statements to the ledger and request copy invoices if required.
  • Ensuring debit notes for non-payment are issued in a timely manner and communicated to the supplier.
  • Reviewing credit notes and matching with debits so they are resolved.
  • Assisting the accounts team with any additional duties.

The successful Accounts Assistant will have

  • Previous experience in an accounts position
  • Strong excel & IT skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
