Salary : £35,000 per annum

This growing dynamic organisation based on the outskirts of Godalming are looking for an experience Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a newly created role within the business and will be fully office based.

Bookkeeper – About The Role

In this role you will be reporting into the Finance Manager and will be working within a finance team of 3. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily running of the accounts function and liaising with the Finance Manager at month end.   • Preparation of full monthly accounts, including the management of balance sheets.
  • Management of P&L statements, prepayments, accruals, bank reconciliations and depreciations.
  • Assisting with the accounts payable & receivable functions.
  • Supporting with the production of financial documents and preparation of multiple accounts.
  • Preparation of P11Ds and maintenance of petty cash.
  • Full responsibility of monthly expenses and corporate credit card processing.
  • Assisting with Payroll as well as any ad hoc finance duties.

The successful Bookkeeper will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • AAT qualified or QBE candidates will be considered.
  • Strong excel skills and experience with Xero would be desirable.
  • Good attention to detail
