This role will be fully office based and will suit an experienced Ledger Clerk who is looking for a new challenge.

Finance Ledgers Clerk – About The Role

In this role you will be reporting into the Finance Director and working alongside the Purchase Ledger Manager. You will be mainly focusing on Purchase Ledger however you will be required to assist with the Sales Ledger process. Furthermore, you will be required to assist with the implementation of a new finance system as well as improving the internal processes. Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Receive, register and code purchase invoices onto the system.
  • Preparation and schedule of payment runs, remittance distribution.
  • Matching invoices to purchase order & GRN.
  • Resolve invoice queries with either suppliers or procurement department.
  • Supplier statement reconciliation at month end.
  • Setting up new accounts and complying to new account procedures.
  • Receive and process payments received as required.

The successful Finance Ledgers Clerk will have

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Experience with COINS would be advantageous
  • AAT qualified or QBE candidates will be considered
