Salary : £25,000 - £28,000

An international group are looking for some addition support within their finance team and as such are looking to hire a Finance Assistant on a 6-month fixed term contract position.

Finance Assistant – About The Role

This position will be supporting the finance operations across part of the Group and as such you will be working closely with both the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable team to ensure and support them with timely processing of all transactions, working to the relevant timelines. Main responsibilities: –

  • Allocating payments to the correct legal entity
  • Reviewing and tracking bank payments through to the relevant ledger
  • Maintaining customer and vendor ledgers
  • Running and sending weekly statements to customers
  • Following up on approval of invoices and expenses
  • Reconciliation of supplier accounts
  • Support both teams in month-end duties, working to audit requirements

The successful Finance Assistant will have:

  • Previous experience of working across both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable – currently or in the most recent part of your work experience
  • Be available at short notice to conduct the interview process and imminent start date
  • Advanced Excel knowledge – with working evidence of this
