Accounts Assistant – About The Role
In this role you will be working within a Finance team of 7 and will be reporting into the Finance Manager. You will be supporting with the daily running of the finance function while also taking full control of the Sales Ledger function.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Assisting in the production of the management accounts for review by the Finance Manager
- Complete all balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly P&L schedules
- Ownership of the Sales Ledger – raising sales invoices and liaising with internal/external staff
- Responsible for the fixed asset register and schedules
- Assisting in finalising the year end accounts
- Providing cover for Accounts Payable and other areas when needed
The successful Accounts Assistant will have/be:
- Previous experience in a similar position
- AAT qualified/QBE candidates will be considered
