Finance Assistant – About The Role
In this role you will be reporting into the Finance Manager and will be working within a sub team of 5. You will also be required to support other departments within finance and build relationships with internal colleagues.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Processing invoices on a daily basis in a timely manner.
- Daily/weekly payments of rebates and liaising with suppliers regarding any issues.
- Setting up new client accounts on the bespoke accounting system.
- Credit control collection across all areas within the business.
- Client account reconciliation, including allocating self-assessment receipts.
- Identifying any process/procedure improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Supporting in the production of financial reports and raising any concerns to senior finance.
The successful Finance Assistant will have:
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- Experience in other roles such as banking/financial services would also be accepted.
- Excellent IT skills & attention to detail.
- AAT or QBE candidates will be considered.
