Salary : £40,000 - £45,000

This growing SME based in central Guildford are looking for a part qualified or qualified by experience Finance Manager to join their team. This is a newly created role within the business due to company growth and will offer fantastic career progression. Furthermore, this role will be offered on a hybrid working scheme post completion of training and you will be joining a business that has built a fantastic working culture.

Finance Manager – About The Role

In this role you will be working alongside the CFO and will be supporting with the daily running of the finance function. In addition, you will be required to produced multiple sets of accounts and liaise with other departments. This is a fantastic, varied role and the ideal candidate will have previous experience within an SME. Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Providing monthly financial reports for the CFO & senior management.
  • Supporting with the preparation and production of the monthly management accounts.
  • Verifying data shown on the data analytics reports.
  • Ensuring the automation processes are functioning to reduce data entry requirements.
  • Managing the accounts payable & receivable function.
  • Company credit card account reconciliation.
  • Setting up online bank payments and producing month end journals.

The successful Finance Manager will have

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Experience in working within an SME
  • Strong excel & analytical skills
  • Part qualified or QBE candidates will be considered.
