Part Time Finance Manager – About The Role
In this role you will be working within a finance team of 4 and will be reporting into the Director of Finance. You will be supporting with the daily running of the finance function and act as the number 2 within finance.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Supporting with the preparation of management accounts, up to trial balance
- Overseeing the daily running of the finance function and ensuring it is running at full efficiency
- Preparation of weekly supplier payment runs, ensuring necessary checks have been completed
- Regular review of outstanding debtors and credit control processes to ensure receipt of funds due
- Complete weekly and monthly reconciliations to ensure than any errors are highlighted promptly and resolved appropriately
- Assist with the annual budget preparation
- Support budget holders by responding to queries and by providing relevant information
- Assisting the FD with year-end routines
- Supporting within other areas of the finance function when required
The successful Part Time Finance Manager will have/be:
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Strong all-round accounting experience
- QBE or part qualified candidates will be considered
- Experience in a not for profit/charity industry would be advantageous
- Ability to communicate at all levels
