Overview

Howett Thorpe are exclusively working with an established SME who are looking to recruit a reporting specialist to join their team. This successful distribution business are looking for an up & coming individual who can work across a number of departments. This role will be offered on a hybrid working scheme post training completion and will suit someone with a finance background that is looking to get involved in the wider areas of the business.

 

Finance/Business Reporting Analyst – About The Role

In this role you will be reporting into the Finance Director and will be producing reports from scratch for management and other users to enable them to make decisions. Furthermore, you will be required to present data to all levels and provide necessary analysis. You will be required to use MS Access & Power BI for report writing so any experience with these would be very beneficial. You will become the expert on the main ERP system and will be helping other departments utilise this system to improve performance.

In Addition, it would be very useful if the successful candidate had some IT knowledge as you will be the internal contact to the external providers. This is a great job for a reporting/systems individual who may have a finance background that is looking for a new challenge in a role that offers more variety.

 

The successful Finance/Business Reporting Analyst will have

  • Experience in producing reports from SQL database
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Basic IT knowledge would be beneficial
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
