An ACA qualified Financial Accountant who is immediately available to start their next role. They have taken the last few months off travelling and are now eager to find a long-term role that offers realistic career progression. Having achieved their ACA qualification in a top 20 accountancy firm, they decided to move into industry, where they have now worked in for 3 years. This was in a growing sector and is keen to progress long term in a Financial Controller/Senior Financial Accountant position. A very bright and technical individual who is available at short notice.
Exposure includes:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, working to strict deadlines for a large portfolio.
- Preparing year end statutory accounts under UK GAAP (FRS 102)
- Quarterly presentation led to key stakeholders, full preparation and delivery.
- Data analysis to find trends in income, expenditure across a large number of entities.
- Fixed asset specialist, providing input on capitalisation and expense management.
- Transitioned companies from IFRS to FRS102.
- Leading audits for some of the largest UK charities, housing associations & universities.
- Preparation of large group accounts upon consolidation.
- Supporting with the training of junior staff and their personal development.
