We are working with a well-established international technology company based in Farnborough, who are looking for an Interim Finance Manager to support their finance function on a 3–6-month contract. This is a full-time, office-based role initially with the role going hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring robust financial controls, and supporting month-end and corporate reporting processes.

Accountant – About The Role
- Managing the monthly bank reconciliation and multi-currency bank accounts
- Overseeing weekly payment runs, credit card management, and ad hoc payments
- Processing monthly payroll through to journal stage (Sage 50)
- Submitting VAT returns and maintaining accruals/prepayment journals
- Maintaining the fixed asset register and handling intercompany recharges
- Supporting cash flow forecasting, OPEX reviews, and budget preparation
- Handling debtor collections (third party and intercompany)
- Assisting with month-end closing, including reconciliations and reporting via OneStream
- Supporting the annual audit process
- Performing ad-hoc system tasks using Microsoft Dynamics 365
The successful Accountant will have:
- Proven experience in a finance role, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Excel
- Familiarity with Sage 50 Payroll
- Strong understanding of month-end processes, reporting, and financial controls
- A proactive, detail-focused, and solution-oriented approach
