A Top-10 trained recently qualified accounts senior seeking a new challenge. This candidate has much more experience than a typical newly qualified, they actually started their career in industry as a finance assistant. They later moved to a small firm and discovered their passion for working in Practice, seeking to take the step up, they made the change to a Top-10 firm that supported them through their studies. The candidate has all round experience, both management and statutory accounts, corporate and personal tax, bookkeeping, vat and even some audit when they had to assist with substantive testing. The candidate is seeking an opportunity within accounts that would also allow them to gain more exposure to personal tax, as this is something they particularly enjoy.
Exposure includes:
- Preparation of statutory accounts under both FRS 102a and 105
- Preparation of CT600 and self-assessment returns
- Review and mentor work prepared by juniors
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Bookkeeping and VAT
- Assist with audit work, primarily substantive testing
Software knowledge: Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Iris
Qualifications: ACCA
