They have been working in accounts for the past few years, having previously worked in admin focused positions but is now looking to further their finance skillset. Exposure includes:
- Looking after 6 companies, dealing with daily bank transactions and reconciliations for each company bank accounts.
- Raising sales invoices and credit notes. Issuing invoices to clients and chasing clients for outstanding payments.
- Logging all purchase and CIS invoices onto an Excel log.
- Reconciling supplier records according to statements received and keeping updated records of those chasing for payments.
- Onboarding new suppliers and building relationships.
- Ensuring the finance function is running at full efficiency and improving any internal processes.
- Collating receipts and posting the different companies credit cards to Sage200.
- Managing the accounts inbox and liaising with relevant contacts.
