Audit Manager with 7 years’ experience split equally between a Top-4 firm and a Top-50 firm. Training and qualifying within the Top-4, the candidate then made the switch to a mid-tier firm and have thrived here, much prefer being in this environment.
This candidate is currently on a career break and has been traveling since November 2025. They are seeking a 3-month temporary assignment from June, with the view for a permanent role at the end of the year. Eager to find a firm with career development opportunity where they can achieve their long term goal of reaching Partner.
Exposure includes:
- Managing a portfolio of 15 audit clients worth circa £300k in fees, industries include retail, travel, technology and cryptocurrency.
- Planning to completion, reporting directly into Partners
- Overseeing up to 6 junior staff, training and reviewing their work
- Preparation and review of statutory accounts under FRS 102
- Audit file reviews for compliance and quality
- Led buy-side financial due diligence engagements
- Top-4 firm- Banking & Capital Markets team with significant IFRS exposure
Software knowledge: Caseware, Xero, Sage
Qualifications: ACCA
