Exposure includes:

  • End-to-end credit control, including debt collection, payment plans, and reducing aged debt
    • Sales ledger management, including invoicing, credit notes, proformas, and retention invoices
    • Daily banking, including posting and allocation of receipts, BACS and card payments, and bank reconciliations
    • Cashflow management, including daily updates and reporting to senior stakeholders
    • Maintenance of aged debtor reports with accurate tracking of payment dates and expected cash inflows
    • Credit risk management, including setting and reviewing credit limits, opening new accounts, and conducting credit checks
    • Managing customer queries and dispute resolution to ensure timely payment
    • Producing weekly debtor reports, stop lists, and management information for senior leadership
    • Strong stakeholder engagement across finance, sales, transport, and project teams
    • Monitoring project-related financial data, including invoice tracking and project code reporting
    • Supporting operational decision-making based on customer account status and credit limits

Software knowledge:  Sage Line 50, SAP, Efacs, Pegasus (Opera), in house systems (XAL), Word, Outlook, Excel
