An ACA-qualified accountant with 8 years’ post-qualification experience across audit, financial control, and senior finance leadership roles. Experience of working within a Top 10 accountancy practice, a private equity–backed multinational consultancy, and a global manufacturing group, bringing both technical strength and commercial insight.
Extensive experience leading end-to-end finance functions, including month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, statutory audit, tax compliance, and systems implementation. She has a strong track record of improving processes and controls across payroll, intercompany accounting, VAT, accounts payable, and expenses, most notably leading the implementation of SAP Concur across a European group.
Exposure includes:
- Leading finance teams (up to 4 direct reports) across multinational groups
- Full ownership of month-end close, management accounts, forecasting and budgeting
- Group consolidation and variance analysis
- Statutory audits across the UK, Europe, Asia and the US
- UK VAT returns and European VAT reporting (Netherlands & Germany)
- Multi-country payroll oversight and liaison with outsourced providers
- Process and control improvements across AP, payroll, intercompany and expenses
- ERP and finance systems implementation (SAP Concur)
- Regular reporting to international HQ and senior management teams
- Complex multi-entity experience
Software knowledge:
- Microsoft Excel – advanced level
- SAP ERP, SAP Concur – including implantation experience
- Exchequer
- Sage 50 Accounts
- CaseWare Working Papers
- ADP Payroll
Qualifications:
CA & Audit Qualification – ICAEW
BSc (Hons) Accounting & Finance – University of Bristol
