A newly qualified individual who has been trained in a top 10 accountancy firm and is now looking for their first move into industry. They have progressed within the Audit team and is now working as an Assistant Manager. They are very open to what their first move into industry looks like and is also happy to work in an SME or a large PLC business. Furthermore, they are a very technically strong individual and has recently started looking for work and will likely get snapped up very quickly.
Exposure includes:
- Managing a portfolio of clients ensuring that work is completed on time and that deadlines are met.
- A variety of administrative tasks including ensuring that enough team members are booked onto an audit, the client is aware of audit dates, request lists are sent in advance & a variety of other administrative tasks involved with running an audit.
- Client experience that ranges in industry for both SME & large organisations.
- Preparing and running planning meeting both internal and external.
- Reviewing audit files from planning through too completion too ensure that appropriate work is completed and completed too a high standard.
- Leading audit teams of varying sizes on a number of different sized audits, ensuring that team members have appropriate work, deadlines are met and the overall job is successfully completed.
- Accounts preparations including consolidated accounts on a variety of clients varying in size and complexity.
- Keeping a constant line of communication open with both clients and team members to ensure that the audit runs smoothly.
- Reviewing of juniors work to ensure that the appropriate work is completed to a high standard.
Software knowledge: Xero, Netsuite, Sage, advanced excel skills
Qualifications: ACA 2024
