• Answering phones professionally, transferring calls to the correct departments and handling enquiries.
• Assisting parents with updates and queries across student and school matters.
• Updating the SIMS register for non-attendance, appointments and medical updates.
• Creating, updating and managing student files using SIMS.
• Liaising with teachers, pastoral leaders and other schools regarding student information and requirements.
• Managing the medical room: assessing student needs, administering medicine securely and logging all activity.
• Ensuring accurate register updates so staff always know student whereabouts.
• Meeting and greeting parents/visitors, issuing appropriate lanyards and ensuring compliance with school security requirements.
• Supporting general administrative functions across the school office.
