This individual has worked within multiple sectors such as healthcare, financial services, charities, construction and FMCG. Highly motivated finance professional with extensive experience across all aspects of finance and strategic management. This individual has enjoyed undertaking project work across finance including system implementations and streamlining.

Now looking to embark upon a new challenge as this candidate feels that the role has become somewhat stagnant and relishes the opportunity to learn and grow with a business.

Experience of working for UK and EMEA business from £2 million – £35 million.

Exposure includes:

  • Overall responsibility for the leadership and strategy of the finance department
  • Preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, advising shareholders on the outturn and potential risks and opportunities
  • Maintaining and reviewing cashflow forecasts and advising shareholders of the cash flow impact of new projects and new strategies – multiple countries
  • Overseeing the preparation of monthly accounts and reporting results and future projections to the Board and other stakeholders
  • Processing and overseeing the calculation for the payroll
  • Overseeing the preparation of payroll, PSA and P11d Returns
  • Overseeing VAT returns
  • Overseeing processing of invoices and returns under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)
  • Liaising with R&D consultants to identify areas where the scheme applies and ensuring the claim has been included in the corporation tax computation
  • Liaising with external auditors for the preparation of year-end group accounts and tax computations
  • Managing a team of three
