Financial Reporting Assistant Manager – About The Role

Take a big step in your career within our client’s Business Services and Outsourcing team, a dynamic and innovative environment where you are encouraged to challenge the status quo. Working closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, from ambitious entrepreneurial SMEs right up to multinational groups. Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients; this will include complex groups and fast-growing SMEs in a variety of industries
  • Take charge of resource allocation for your portfolio, take the lead for fee negotiation and ensure budgets are met
  • Plan and develop a plan of how work will be delivered, collaborating with the wider team to ensure the best service for your clients
  • Identify Financial Reporting requirements as your clients grow and the reporting requirements change, in line with FRS and UKGAAP
  • Build and maintain client relationships, being their main point of contact
  • Collaborate across departments, facilitating seamless integration of services to enhance client experience
  • Engage with senior management and partners to drive strategic initiatives and deliver exceptional value to clients

The successful Financial Reporting Assistant Manager will have:

  • Qualified Accountant with UK Practice experience (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Thorough working knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS with experience of applying both frameworks
  • Experience of preparing or reviewing statutory accounts and/or providing external audit services
