A qualified by experience senior finance professional who is currently working as a Finance Manager for an SME organisation and is now looking for their next challenge. They have worked in managerial positions for the past 9 years and have worked in both practice and industry. Furthermore, they also successfully ran their own bookkeeping service so have great experience in handling clients across a number of industries. They are now looking for a role with a small to medium size business where they can showcase their skillset and be a vital figure within a finance department. A very driven individual who has recently come to the market and comes across well in person.

Exposure includes:

  • Managing the daily finance activities for the company including all ledger work and working with key suppliers
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for senior management and providing insights into financial performance and areas for improvement
  • Completing independently and confidently statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and LLPs
  • Preparing management accounts and drafting corporation tax computations in line with clients demands
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns
  • Overseeing the complete bookkeeping cycle for a varied portfolio of clients
  • Processing monthly payments runs and reconciling all bank accounts
  • Handling staff expenses and checking agreed supplier rates and dealing with any discrepancies
