An experienced Ledger Manager who has been working in accounts for the past 10 years and is now looking for their next challenge. They started their career within credit control where they progressed to a senior/managerial role before taking on the control of the accounts payable function as well. This has given them a very well-rounded skillset and are keen to continue their AAT studies in order to further their career. Exposure includes:
- Full responsibility of the credit control function for multiple companies
- Reducing outstanding debt across the business and setting up clear payment structures with suppliers
- Assisting the Financial Controller to complete a monthly reconciliation of incoming and outgoing payments
- Managing the AP ledger across numerous companies
- Inputting supplier invoices onto Sage and keeping an updated spreadsheet of payable invoices
- Supervising and training the credit control team as well as providing performance reviews
- Setting up new supplier accounts and assisting with handling monthly company expenses
- Implementing new systems in order to improve efficiency
- System exposure – Sage 50 & 200, QuickBooks and intermediate Excel skills
