Audit Manager – About The Role
Joining the audit team, you will work closely with the manager to complete various audit assignments in a timely and accurate manner. Responsibilities to include:
- Develop comprehensive audit plans and strategies based on risk assessments and client needs
- Ensure budgets are met and audit work is completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Coordinate with senior management and partners to align audit objectives with overall business goals
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships and addressing client concerns
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business operations and provide strategic insights
- Lead and supervise audit teams, providing guidance, support and mentoring to more junior members or the team
- Ensure audits are conducted in compliance with the latest standards and regulatory requirements
- Review work completed by other members of the team and ensure work is completed to the highest of standards
- Prepare and present clear and concise audit reports to clients and partners
The successful Audit Manager will have:
- Qualified with ACA or ACCA and have a minimum of 3-year post qualification experience
- Extensive UK audit experience
- A diligent work-ethic, thriving independently or as part of a larger team
- Effective communication skills and the ability to form long-lasting client relationships
