Audit Senior – About The Role
Joining the audit team, you will work closely with the seniors and managers to complete various audit assignments in a timely and accurate manner. Completing various tasks and gaining varied experience, this position can lead to manager level within a few years. Responsibilities to include:
- Assist with audit planning
- Audit of financial statements, testing of all areas, including but not limited to, sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank, assets, liabilities and stock
- Complete walk-through testing where required
- Conducting stock takes
- Liaise with clients to obtain required information
- Raise queries with clients and resolve issues
- Assisting junior members of the team
The successful Audit Senior will have:
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience within Audit at a UK firm of accountants
- Be actively studying the ACA or ACCA with the view of finishing all of your exams
- A diligent work-ethic, thriving independently or as part of a larger team
- Effective communication skills and the ability to form long-lasting client relationships
- Keen attention to detail is essential
